I first found this song on youtube and looked for the chords, and came across this lovely little site. ^_^

My 88-year-old mother writes for an Amish magazine. She was writing about the time she baked a pie and it was bubbling over in the oven and reminded her of this song. She was wondering how to get permission to use a few lines of it in her story. We don’t know the author or who holds the copyright? Can you help us?

I learned this song way back in the 50’s. When we sang it, it was a little different than your version, which is as follows: It’s bubbling. It’s bubbling. It’s bubbling in my soul. I’m singing and shouting since Jesus made me whole. Some people don’t understand it, but I can’t keep it quiet. It’s bubbling, bubbling, bubbling, bubbling, bubbling day and night.

I love this song,we sang it in church back in the early 70s…. for some reason it just came to my mind today so I had to look up the lyrics

I learned this as a young child in the late 50’s or early 60’s. I was wanting to share it in my Ladies’ Bible study, and had a couple of words that I wanted to check out. Thanks for sharing it!
