Nellie Wright says:My Sunday School lesson is about Nicodemus, and being born again. Then my mind went way
back to this little kids song. I was not sure I could get it right. So when no body answered at my daughters, I tried the web site. Thank You Jesus! May God richly bless this web site.

Adela says:Who wrote the music and the lyrics? Is there a way to listen to the verse of the song? I would like to use it for a Sunday school class. Anything about copyright that I should know before doing so?

Nick Wetherington says:Thank you for the service you provide for ministry. I first learned the lyrics years ago from my nephew who is also in ministry. It is a great song that children have related to throughout the years. He added a variation where he divides the children into two or more sections then points to that section to sing a word, phrase, etc. while the other sections are to remain silent. It adds a nice variety that the children enjoy and actively participate in. This makes a good song to include in lessons on repentance. Again thank you for your ministry.

John Holland says:For the person who asked: this song was written by Reverend Gary Davis and the lyrics shown here are not how he wrote it, his grammar was more that of a street preacher. Reverend wrote a great many gospel songs, he is worth investigating. If you want to hear how he played this song, I’ll include a link in a separate comment. Blessings!
