When my oldest daughter was a baby, I would sing her to sleep every night. I wrote my own verse to this song:
Now when I think of God’s pure love,
How He sent His Son to die
For me upon the cross that day,
    I break down and cry.
For Jesus loved this child so,
He gave His life for me,
How thankful I am for God’s gift
    Of Eternity.

I hope you enjoy it as much as we have.

This song was my daughters first solo in church. I cried through the whole thing. That was years ago. I wish more kids and parents knew this song and truly understood it’s meaning.
